lets put this way, back in 81 you either rode a maico or chased one.
Our beloved Yamis, Zuks, Kawis and Honda's were the equivelent of a chinese bike basicaly, they spent their time taking apart maicos, learning about how to build a bike.
Yamaha released the yz465, which was basicaly a pros bike for the public.
