| well, this will be super helpful. like gscx was saying you have to go at whoops super hard. shift up a gear and pin it. like he said, half way and you are screwed. also, i cant emphasize standing enough. like gscx was saying, the attack position. standing gives you greater control of your bike and a faster reaction time. dont sit, except for turns. granted you could sit if you were just cruising the flats but trails and general riding you should stand. at the track, the only time i touch the seat is in turns. remember, you can use your body to control your bike. while standing you will be able to greatly influence the bike by how your weight is position on the foot pegs. just practice.
