| Update
The fork is bent near the middle of the inner tube. I got it out (with the help of my truck and chains, hehe) but I am not sure if that particular fork is meant to be disassembled all the way. The diagram from yamaha shows the left fork disassembled and gives an OEM price of the entire right fork. I know I said it was the left fork but according to the diagram, it is the right. (I guess it depends on what direction you look at it.) Anyway, I was wanting a machine shop to straighten it or save some money and just buy the inner tube. Now I might have to buy the whole fork anyway. Thanks for all the help. Any other suggestions now would still be helpful. Anyone know where I can buy the fork for cheap, or even a used one? I am just trying to fix the bike up to sale it. Thanks. |
