The twin exhaust setup does have real benefits. They are able to use to short mufflers to achieve the same silencing as one long one. This means that flow should increase which means more horsepower. The dual pipes would be nice for balance too. I am not sure if I would like it though. I do think we will see more bike switching to this setup in the future however. And when this does happen I will dig up this article and say, "I told you so."
