| First Dirt Bike
i got this from a diff. thread and thought i'd see what you guys would suggest for me. thanks for the advice.
1) your physical size (both height and weight are important) = 5'10" 185lbs
2) How physical / aggressive are you ? = pretty physical/aggressive. i race road bikes.
3) what do you plan to ride- MX/SX tracks, woods, fields with friends or ????? = woods at first then some mx.
4) Do you have any riding experience? = yes race road bikes
5) Do you think you will race ? = maybe a little
6) Are you mechanically inclined and will you be doing your own bike work? = pretty good. i do most of the work on my sport bike
7) Do YOU have a preferance to a brand/ motor choice (2 or 4 stroke)? = no
8) Do you have a dealer close by your home that you might use and what brand(s) does he carry? = i ride a suzuki sportbike now but open to others
9) How much ($) do you plan to spend on a bike? = can spend around 6000 but would like to spend less
10) Do you live in California? = no
11) Your age? 23
12) anything else that you think would help form an opinion = i only get to ride my sport bike at the track about once a month because it is so expensive. from the research i've done dirt bikes aren't so expensive to keep up with. plus riding dirt bikes is a great way to keep in shape. i was thinking about a 250 but am not sure. |
