The XR4's oil cooler lines are flared end, Stainless Steel tubes that run from the oil cooler it's self to the oil pump at the right front side of the motor.
The only exception are flex points on each line which are located at the base of the front down tube.
This allows for removal of the engines clutch side cover for service without tearing apart the cooler lines.
It's well thought out, the lines tuck in near the frame and stay out of the way. It's a non issue till side cover removal is needed and then you need a zip lock bag to catch cooler line oil. |
