| The mud flap is a standard OEM Honda part, Acerbis sells a generic flap for around 12 bucks USD.
My Honda GL1800 Goldwing has reverse, it's activated using the starter motor and the starter runs in reverse.
It's really freaky and you have to go very slow otherwise the bike would tip over.
It's great for backing out of parking spots and out of the garage.
Dirt Rider Magazine (June 2007 issue) built a XR400 Supermoto using the 400ex bottom end like I did but they installed reverse.
They were claiming the worlds only dirt bike with reverse, I really considered reverse but I wanted to get the starter on the XR4 working top notch first.
Maybe before I go to the Honda Hoot this year I will install the reverse gears, hmmmm, That would be an eye catcher |
