| yea this will happen to 2 strokes. but it shouldnt be that bad. hondas have a gasket that goes between the cylinder and the piece thta connects the pipe, have you ever taken all of this off? or maybe the gasket is bad, this is probly the cause because the bike does have some age on it. im not ragging on it or nothing but im just saying, mines the same year, try replacing that gasket and the o rings on the pipe, if it has them and this should help
