| helicoils work, but id take a regular thread over one anyday. you dont even really have to have one, all an oil plug is, is a bolt with a rubber seal on the washer, all you need to do is drill and tap the hole 1 size bigger, get 1 size bigger bolt than your oil plug currently is, and get a rubber seal washer.
