| 1996 yz250 carb question i was possibly going to trade a guy for his 1996 yz 250 and he says that his bike starts and rides for like a half hour but then it doesnt work and he said it is because he needs to get a new float/something else in his carb. He said he will fix it before we trade, but honestly, is this going to cause me problems for the rest of the bikes life while i have it? I dont want something that is going to need work every couple years. he said he just had the top end rebuilt. he also said it is gonna need a new piston and rings next year. Should i stay away from this bike? Are yz's known for carb problems? Should i try and get a different bike instead? Thanks guys, btw this is my first post. Ty for accepting me in to the community!! |
