| there carbs are simple. it probably just needs cleaned so no big deal on that. if he just did the top end, it wont need a piston and rinf because that is the top end. topend=piston,ring. i would do it. justy depends but right now i have 50+ hours on my 125 topend so if he just replaced you should be good for a while. i would atleast do rings each riding season and a pistonevery 1 1/2 riding season, just depends how much you ride and how hard you ride. you will always have to work on it atleast once a year. shit happens lol but 2 stroke at the most part are cost friendly. hope all goes well
