| my old go kart had a problem like that (5hp horizontal shaft piston facing straight up)
i drove it down at my old school in the buss loop and managed to take the turn fast enough that it would pull the oil to one side of the engine and up to the piston
(yea, that was a high G turn)
this made the oil go into the cylinder and made it smoke horridly
