yea the only 500 that is made is the CR500af, and the KX500af, both of them use old 500 engines, the engines are from 88, 89, 90 and such but the frames are from 07,06,05 and stuff from cr250s for the cr500af and the kx450f for the kx500af. so the cr500 may have been made in 07, BUT they are in no way shape or from the sames as the old 500s, except from the engine, which dont mean much since it doesnt matter how much power you have if yhe chassis cant handle it, and yes, it was me that said that the cr500s are old and outdated, because they dont have a powervalve, the kx500 is a better engine, they have a powervalve with a higher top speed and as much low end power, because of the powervalve
