| does it come out as soon as u turn the gas on? have u taken the screw out and checked it out? if u answered no and yes to these question then its most likely the float needle. they are usually a rubber tipped brass needle. after a while the rubber gets old and crusty and does not seal properly. what it is sealing is the flow of gas from the tank to filling up the bowl. the bowl needs to be filled up with enough gas to provide to the engine if a surge occurs and the fuel coming just from the line cant flow high enough at that instant. anyway, if it doesnt seal right, the bowl will overfill and come out of a tube.
