It's just one of those questions that will haunt you for all time, and there is no true answer for it.

For example: If 7/11 is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year, why are there locks on the door?

I'm going to guess it means two-stroke or two-cycle type and the same with 4t oil just as an easy way to identify the type but thats just a guess though.

2t just makes people more confused about why its named 2t and not 2s i couldnt find what it meant on the internet though.

I think that 4-strokes are really expensive and an experienced rider has too tear down the engine a lot and replace the valves and it can be quite expensive, not to mention all of the other costs for parts and how expensive they are. 2-strokes are more reliable but IMO if you want to win the race get a four stroke. Also I almost forgot, a 4-stroke is a lot easier to ride.

I think it was the rider lol not the bike. But nevertheless, 2-stokes will be replaced.
