![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I know a guy named Dave Steadman, he is a helluva a quick rider, any way he still is a die hard 2 stroke fan, but even he can admit that they are a dying breed. however he still races 2's and still wins against the "noobs" on the 4's and even some of the experienced riders.

| Administrator | if u havent ridden a 4 stroke, get out there on one!!!! it will change your life, you will probally want to sell your car to afford one once u feel the power diff. ya they have a lot of power but are kinda expensive.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | old thread ya i know sorry but i like the whole 2 stroke 4 stroke debate. i personally have ridden a 450f and 250f or r whatever one oyu wanna call it. also have ridden 125's 2 stroke, 250 2 strokes, i would much rather have a 2 stroke, yes 4 strokes are easier to ride and have amazing power everywhere no doubt on that, but its all on what yur riding style is and what you prefer. you will never get me off of a 2 stroke. and the whole dyno thing put somethin up there worth lookin at like a 250 4t and a 250 2t. same displacment. the only way that the 2 strokes are ever gonna not be the dieing breed is if the ama and other competition series make to where 2ts and 4ts have the same displacement. which will never happen but theres always hope |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | the main cause of the 2strokes demise is the emissions. and btw there is hope for the 2. there is a rule that in 09 the biggest bore for a 4 is 350. maybe this will help the 2 come back, even though i like 4's better i would hate to see them leave. also the other day a kx125 tried to catch my wr on a gravel road, he just couldnt do it. every time he would get close id give mine a little more, in the end he was full bore and i was pulling away.
