| Administrator | i dont think they are going to see that. granted there are fuel injected 2 strokes out there, but i dont think companies are going to start spending money on a dying bike. they may however and fmx would greatly benefit from this. if you have ever been to an fmx show, they are constantly tuning and efi would be great.

| Administrator | ya, what are you talking about? oil mixture stuff? you shouldnt directly inject fuel into a a cylinder. this would not work especially on a 2 stroke.

| Administrator | ok so apparently they plan on "directly" injecting fuel into the engine. this is thought to help prevent the unburned fuel from just being drawn through the exhaust port and to keep exhaust gas from entering the crankcase. however, multiple sources state that this cant even begin to compete with a mildly tuned 4 stroke. so in other words, this method can help efficiency but will never stand up against a 4 stroke.

![]() | at the mo ive got 2 only cos it was cheap if had the money would go for 4 all day long power ther from start 2 finish & will go up hills all day ive got a mag motoX june 07 which say 2 stroke day r comin 2 an end also u mention the cfr230 dont forget suzuki dr-z125 4stroke dont know what this bike is like not seen spec's for it also in same mag they say death of the 450 .is this the end for the open class Last edited by DAVO; 11-22-2007 at 01:45 PM. |
