| Pro Mototips Member | they have had di fuel injected 2 stroke out-board motors for boats for a long time and they run great they just need time to perfect the injection

| Administrator | ya, i know lots of other 2 strokes are direct injected, thats why you can buy pre-mix made for injection.

![]() | 2'sv4pot hi all , i am a new member to this site from england. talk over here is that the 4 pot may become out lawed as they are destroying our motorcross tracks and are far too noisy. rubbish i say ,well maybe the 450 is but not the 250F . i am on my third rm-z250 and sold a 07 crf 450 last week .too much for me (beast of a bike )i also have a 1989 kx 250 .this bike is by far quicker than 1 todays 2pot and 4 pot , i love ridin her she is so easy to ride and full of power .like riding a 4 stroke realy .my advise is by a evo kx or cr , i had my first rmz go bang (well my mate put oil filter in backwords for me )cost me over £1000 pounds to fix .just had first rebiuld in kx250 (first for nearly 20 years ) at a cost of £300 , deffo EVO 2pot for me . |

![]() | na ,4 bangers are wrecking the sport over here. weather is mostly wet. i was talking to dave thorpe the other weekend (4 time world moto champ 9 time brittish )he said he thought the sport was going downhill from back in the late 80's early 90's ,any sign of rain and they now cancel the race's.just last week we had the brittish 4stroke maxxis chapionships ,apart from billy mckenzy the other riders on 4pots found it hard goin .the guy's on 2pot not so bad went well.so i do believe that weather conditions havea big factor in what is the best bike to have . |

| Administrator | That is broken because 4 strokes are known for superior traction, even in wet, muddy conditions. They have interviewed a bunch of pros over here and they all say the stroke is nothing compared to the 4 stroke. They don't really cancel races here either. You ride and get muddy.

| Pro Mototips Member | its a personal preference really i like four strokes because they have power everywhere and you can really predict them two stroke are fun to ride but don't have any low down torque that i like

| Administrator | Oh.... I feel bad for you. Jim had that two bikes ago and it was the slowest thing ever. We were satisfied for about one ride then we found out everything about it was slow and the suspension was terrible. I hated how little power it had. Especially on trails.
