ok so i just became learned in this engine. so its like a regular 4 stroke, but for the last cycle the cam cuts out and water is injected into the engine. this expands instantly into steam and is used as another combustion cycle. they have a running Briggs Model.

Kinda makes sense. Not quite something for nothing, but considering what we were doing before... if you can get an extra stroke without damaging the engine with water, go for it. I wonder what effect on wear/tear it will have.

ya, i wonder how the block take it when its smokin hot and they throw some water in it. it certainly must make steam and thats what they are lookin for, but as far as wear and tear, they do have running lawn mower engines in production that use this technique.

well i learned lots more about the 6 stroker. apparently an air cooled engine runs cool enough to hold your hand on it. they apparently have high hopes of getting this engine into production soon. it is claimed that high compression will be reached much more easily on lower octane gas and without any premature detonation. kinda cool 30:1 here we come lol idk if that will happen. however as far as the integrity of the engine and the damage, he use a diesel engine converted to run gas. he does this because they are built to deal with high compression. the guy that built it though is so awesome and hooked. i will do so more research on the topic because it is awesome and fill u all in.

they havent even dyno tested this yet. its been around for a year and is patented, but they are still redesigning the cams and working out the bugs. they are making lots of claims though: that it will be cleaner and not need a catalytic converter, that it may keep the engine free of carbon, and that it will eliminate the need for radiators. as far as power, i would be led to believe that it would maybe posses a little more power than a 4 stroke, if perfected. i might make a flash animation of how it works for everyone to understand better.
