yea that video was pretty cool. alaways wondered what happened inside an engine. makes you wonder how the first engine makers did it huh?

im pretty sure they just guessed. well its magical either way. think about you yourself designing a 2 stroke engine. ya it would be crazy.

damn tig you seem amazed haha. but the concept of a 2 stroke is simple today but how did someone think of it in the first place, i dont get it

even today, millions of man hours go into just refining engines. rarely do they come out with new inovations that actually make a big dif. even today if someone had access to all the tools they needed it would still take them forever to build an engine and it was even less back then. i would sure like to take apart an old engine from the 20s and see what everything looked like. i wonder what the valves and cams looked like back then. i bet each cam profile was hand sanded.
