| Pro Mototips Member | i cant see it but im guessing its pretty crappy, but if it has two pipes it is def a twin cylinder because two strokes cant use two pipes on one cylinder because the sound wave wouldnt move the fresh fuel back into the cylinder right, it just wouldnt work

| B Rider | First of all the CR1000 pic in the first link is a dummy. There is no evidence that that was anything more than a mock up. No one in the CR500 or hillclimbing communities has seen or heard of a functional example. This pic has been floating around like pics of bigfoot. Alot of stories but no proof. The bike in the video is just 2 CR500s inline connected by a chain on the stator side. Peterson racing does nothing crappy. It is well engineered and the workmanship is excellent. I've seen this bike run several times when I did the paramedic standbys at Skips Hillclimbs at Carnegie. There is one guy that shows up there with a bike that has 3 YZ495s inline. All kinds of crazy bikes are run in the exhibition class.
