yes that is true. i spray wd 40 on my frame where the paint is off. i still rock the steel fram 125 lol. and on my plastics the morning before the race. it helps with mud not sticking. i pretty much spray it everywhere and then wipe it all down.
just wax your bike, use ice wax because it wont leave a white mark if it gets on your seat. and plus it smells good lol
i done just one the shrouds and fenders side panels frame. i do not need the extra slippage as my seat cover sucks and is worn out already
I remember the days of steel frames... Oh aluminum my best friend. I used to use 6-in-1 for everything. It is much more expensive than WD-40 but well worth it.
what about petrol? it gets rid of grease but is it ne good 4 the bike? EG plastics, aluminum, steel, hose pipes ETC. cheers james
its okay to use fuel. kerosene is the best imo, just keep them away from your plastics i wouldnt soak the bike in it but some gas on a tooth brush works great!
and if you use a pressure washer, be careful. dont spray right into the radiator and I like to stay away from the carb. it can blow by seals if you aren't careful
When we were at the annual ride Tig had said he no longer uses a power washer on his bike for that reason. I do use one but it is old, I stand back and don't hit anything fragile.
yeah, it is exactly the showing the way how we can clean or wash out our bike, your bike seemed to be pretty nice than the dirt one above, and i would like to tell something if motorcycling is your greatest passion as compared to all other sports then you must be aware that riding a is not much like playing basketball on the court or playing football and baseball in a diamond. It is also not as safe as chess, tennis or billiards. But over all, there is one thing that motorcycling is similar with the other sports, that is motorcycling is as exciting and as compelling as any other sports most people enjoy. Nevertheless, despite the negative descriptions that other people can say about motorcycling, still a lot of people are engaged in this as a hobby or as a sport. And we cannot blame them because there is something that riding gives that other sports do not – that is going to many different and far places and having fun. Motorcycles can allow you to go and see so many places without the burden of rushing of before the traffic catches you on the road; the burden of having to clean up such a big vehicle as in a car or van; or having to feed animals as when you go horseback riding. These allow you a different kind of freedom and excitement more than what you can feel while inside a coliseum or a playing field. The very thing that gives the motorcycles some negative marks is the fact that it is dangerous to ride. But the dangers can be lessened, avoided and ultimately prevented with proper self-discipline and with the choice of the apparel and
