Hickman Racing's engine program has helped power Chad Johnson and the Bad Boys Power drink, Honda, Tuf Racing Team to two back-to-back wins at last weekend's race in Louisville! They were very proud to have contributed to these wins that allowed Chad to extend his points lead over second place. The phenomenal performance of Chad and the Team is related to skill and preparation but it never hurts to have the horsepower to pull the hole shot on your competitors thanks to the Hickman Racing engine program.
Hickman Racing is pleased to announce the continued success of their engine sponsorship of the Bad Boys Power drink, Honda, Tuf Racing Team. Hickman Racing has helped Chad Johnson, riding #10; take and hold the lead in the Toyota ARENACROSS AX Division, a lead that he has held from the start of the season. His teammate, Danny Smith, was running in seventh place in the AX Division until an injury put him out for the season.
Hickman Racing's owners, Jim & Tina Hickman, and all the other hometown fans and customers of Hickman Racing were especially excited at the November 3rd. Toyota ARENACROSS opener in Des Moines, IA race as Chad Johnson and Danny Smith placed first and second in Saturday night's feature race! The evening before Chad and Danny placed second and fourth consecutively. All in all a very successful start to the extremely competitive Toyota ARENACROSS series that has helped propel these riders into the Top 10 eight races into the season.
As the season has progressed the Hickman Racing sponsored team rider Chad Johnson continues to lead the points chase in the AX class. Another race where Chad Johnson dominated was the January 12 Baltimore, MD race on where he won both his heat race and the Main Event!
With the help of Hickman Racing's engine building expertise Chad Johnson stretched his tight lead from five points to ten after the race in Dayton where he finished second in the Main. Even after bringing in some engine building expertise the competition has been unable to match the performance of Chad Johnson's Honda!
Chad Johnson has been very excited about the course of events this year and attributes a key part of his success to the Hickman Racing engine program. Chris Hunter, the Team Manager, has expressed confidence in the power and reliability of their new engine program for 2007/2008 as well.
