| Pro Mototips Member | Front-Wheels Optional At Maxxis MiniMotoSX Front-Wheels Optional At Maxxis MiniMotoSX ANAHEIM, Calif. (March 14, 2008) In case you were planning on competing at this year's Maxxis MiniMotoSX, the "biggest PitBike race in the world", you need to know that riding with a front-wheel is completely optional! At least that will be the case for Ohio's Tyler Shepard, the internationally acclaimed "Wheelie Wizzard". Performing at halftime of the "Superbowl of PitBike races", the Wheelie Wizzard, has been featured in several industry magazines and has even been known to wheelie over a few motocross stars in his one-wheeled ride to stardom. "When I got the call to be part of the Maxxis MiniMotoSX in Vegas, I didn't hesitate," says Shepard. "Having several PitBike wheelie tricks, including the one-wheeled bike, I'm looking forward to being part of this exciting industry event!" Inspired by the late Wheelie King, Doug Domokos, Shepard has been performing on one wheel, on all sizes of bikes, since he was just 15 years old. Now at 23, he is gearing up for his greatest challenge yet. "We are putting the final touches on a deal to set the record for the world's highest wheelie", proudly explains Shepard. "I will be wheelie-ing an electric bike around the observation deck of the Sears Tower in Chicago!" "We are always looking to add to the excitement of the Maxxis MiniMotoSX," adds Eric Peronnard, originator of the annual event and amateur wheelier. "With the Wheelie Wizzard onboard, we just might inspire a whole new generation of wheeliers!" Be sure to catch Tyler "Wheelie Wizzard" Shepard and all of the motocross-industry stars competing at the 2008 Maxxis MiniMotoSX at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on May 2; the kick-off event of the Monster Energy Supercross Finals weekend!
