Dr-z 400

I plan on getting a dr-z 400 street/trail, wondering if anyone has any input, anything you know prone to break so i can nip it in the bud. Thanks: Corey.

The drzs are great bikes, they arent high performance, but they are liquid cooled and they are very very reliable. I dont think it will leave you pushing

suzuki makes some great enduros and i think the dr-z's are great.

its not like a wr or crfx though, its closer to an xr in terms of performance.

well lets not go pushing things, have a look at the dynos here:

or were you referring to the yz250f? because here is the yz250f, its the line in yellow.

and heres my bike just to get everything out there:

yes the yz250f, but you have to realize that the dyno with the wr in it has the bike as delieverd from stock, quite corked up, do the free mods and youll probably see low 30s, the drz just isnt a high performance bike, I like them that way, we need something with decent power that you dont have to be wrenching on all the time.
Oh yeah for your bike were you running a knobby? because i was expecting you to have high 30s to low 40s.

yes but the number of mods you do to the wr250f, can mostly be applied to the drz400 and with a higher starting displacement, the increase in hp compared to the wr250f is proportional.

of course, but look at it this way, the drz does have 150cc more, it shouldnt even be a competition.
