tig, our small migs look alot alike, except yours is a hobart. and yes turtle, i mean bouncing back. i love the small migs because they use a 110 outlet. oh, and do you guys have auto-darkening helmets?

Of course. I have a solar power, but it is not straight solar powered. It is rechargeable solar with flame graphics. LOL

i dont have solar powered ones, but i love the ones i have! i like to use the regular ones though because it saves $70 and i feel guilty being too lazy to flip my hood up.

I paid like $50 for mine new on Ebay. It sure is nice and I wouldn't ever go back. It is super sweet and I still flip the hood up to get a peak.

when i had ag class, i got hooked on the regular ones because its not like i dont flip it up anyways. it is nice to see where you are gonna weld before you do it, and setting your sensitivity. im going to check out ebay, because we got ours from curk welding supply for 100, and they arent even solar powered.

Try not to get just the solar powered ones. If you are not looking directly at the weld like when 2 people are welding it won't change and screw you over. They just rely on enough energy to switch them.
