oh, and your lucky, back when we were working on our bulldozer and roller, (we went through 4 tanks of argon) i got flash-burn 3 times. and all together ive had it 5 times.

That sucks a lot. I have got my face sun burnt before because I was tacking a bunch of things and never bothered with a mask. Closed my eyes so they were fine but the face didn't fare too well. I have been sun burnt on my chest and arms as well.

you know, it is possible to bet flash burn with you eyes closed. but, it takes all day.

I have not got it. It technically is impossible. You eyelids are able to absorb all of the UV radiation from the weld, so getting welding burn in your eyes is because you aren't closing them quick enough.

I just know what UV radiation is and how it works.

... i heard that uv can pass though your eye lids.... thats why you have to where those goggles in the tanning beds (or something like that)
