I hate to be the one always arguing but an exhaust is a very effective and SAFE way to gain real horsepower. Big bore kits create an unreliable engine. Yes, many people have luck with them but many others have them destroy their entire engine. With a big bore comes other work, such as stiffer clutch springs and possibly new mains to be safe. The exhaust brings about horsepower safely and there is a reason so many exhaust manufacturers are not only in business but profiting excessively.

everyone and their mother has an exhaust system.
again, Ive ridden bikes back to back stock and then with only an exhaust, definietly not worth the price.

You can't even begin to say that. Purchasing an exhaust is one of the most cost effective solutions to gaining horsepower. People buy them because they add horsepower.

i have talked to people at the track and they say reed valves make more of a difference than a exhaust and they are like 100 cheaper

i have fmf reeds, he said anyways, i didnt know fmf even made reeds.

the best mod period is a hicomp piston, adds power everywhere whether than moving it around.
second would have to be power now.
