I just ride it in the balance point until I run out of room. I usually just twist the throttle a bit in 3rd and the bike comes up. For no footers, if I am starting down, I start in 1st or 2nd but if I am transitioning I will just use 3rd. Next is sitting on the tank. I will get some pictures for this weekend.

I assume you are talking to TJ? 5th gear pulls up fine on my bike too. Most of the time however I am riding in sand so the tire never really hooks up, but on dirt the bike is a whole other person.
