The Ferrari is a sweet looking car. I do not like Porsches at all. I have drive a few and they all drive like crap. Plus thay all look the same. The deisign team at Porsche has to be the most overpayed people on the planet! I like the Audi because it has AWD and it is actually priced somewhat reasonable for what it is.

I don't care how many wins they have they ride like crap and are a pain in the a__ to drive. Even Porsche fans will tell you that.

Plus they all look alike. You can hardly tell them apart!

The 911 has more wins than any other car because once again Porsche does not redesign their cars so they have been making the same car forever while every other car manufacturer redesignes their cars. The 911 may have won more races than any other car but Porsche has not won the most of all the manufactureres.

they are the same basic design, true, but they have always recieved needed updates, ill let the discovery channel do the talking
as far as being over rated, well, the carrera gt was the quickest car in top gears track challenge a couple years ago.

I have nothing against Porsche but that was very typical British car reviewing. The first turbocharged production car? GM has been using turbos on production cars since 1963. I'll give the Porsche 911 props for the huge power output of their little turbo 6 banger but I do not consider it a supercar. It does have a legandary race history but the stats are biased somewhat due to the fact their win numbers include several long running race series and classes that are 911 only. I have driven a few dreamcars and my experience is that they are all tempermental, hard to drive and uncomfortable regardless whether its a 580hp twin turbo 930 or a Lambo Countach. Im of the opinion that somethings are better left a dream.

I am not saying they are no fast by any means. They can haul a__ but I still don't like them. Just a personal preferance.

I agree with Medic, most Porsches are not supercars. The Carrera may be but for the most part the others are not. That is why I like the Audi so much, it is not a supercar and it actually drives nice and is very well behaved for how much power it has.
