winter x games....remember Deegans big ass bad crash? Not the one at Bam Margera's house, but the one on the snow? I will look for the link to the crash.

Winter X Games 8: Brian Deegan Crashes Hard in Moto X. Deegan, leader of the famed Metal Mulisha, was considered the easy favorite of the Moto X Best Trick event. He had already completed the 360 in Summer X, winning him the gold medal, and Deegan also stood atop the podium at Winter X Games 6.

With all eyes on Deegan in the Moto X preliminaries, Brian attempted his newest signature move, the 360. However, shortly after realizing that he wouldn't be able to complete the 360-degree rotation in the air, Deegan bails his bike mid-air and falls 45 feet onto hard-packed snow.

The injuries were brutal. Not only did he break both his wrists (how he went to the bathroom those following months we'll never know), Deegan broke the largest and what is considered to be the most painful bone in the body, the femur.

Yet Deegan would return, winning the gold medal in Moto X Best Trick at the 2005 Winter X Games 9. "I don't think many people have come from a broken femur to win again," proclaimed the leader of the Metal Mulisha.
