how do you flood it when its running?
if mine stalls and you kick it about a 1/4 way its starts right back up

stall it out going up a hill and such.
the bikes are finicky to start hot, at least the older ones are.

chances are he has not done this and it is just as easy to clear it out.
Pull in the hotstart, hold the kill switch down, and kick the starter through at a decent pace that wont wear you out about 20-30 times.

Well you dont put it near the hole, off on the side of the head, and kick it if its a good spark you will know it, thats the problem i have on my bike when it wont start it wont spark at all....
