when i change the oil, i give a small kick (manual says so) while the spark plug wire is off, then, pour some new oil in it with the plug still off so it gets all the old out.

you should run the motor before changing the oil in regular cases, it mixes up the dirt into the oil wich then will flow out

So how I do it is I pin it in 5th on the flats for a while, roll back to the lot and immediately change my oil. Feels so right.

... my thought is that the oil would be to hot then... i don't like to deep fry my hands
i just let it warn up to until the cooling fins (air cooled bike) are just warm

Well see thats where owning a Honda comes in handy again. I have a drain bolt on the side of my case so oil doesn't spill on you.
