| Pro Mototips Member | your pretty lucky then change the fluids while your at it in case there are any tiny shards in the oil/ antifreeze

| Administrator | Ok, some things to make sure you do. Make sure that you change the oil at least 3 times on the first ride. This may sound expensive but to get things running solid again it is necessary. Make sure to change the oil filter each time as well. Next, make sure that the valve guide is ok. Check this by inserting a new valve in the guide and seeing if you can rock it back and forth. Also, you will want to check the valve seat to see if you need to get it recut or not. Make sure to hone as everyone has said as well. Why did this valve brake off? Most likely due to wear. So which one is next? You should really replace all the valves and the timing chain as well. Good luck.
