Wait so you only sent them the cylinder yet it is going to be a larger bore than before? How do they know what to bore it out to? Did you know every single manufacturer has different piston to ring tolerances that change the exact size they bore to. Just because you say it is 52.5mm or something like that does not mean that is what they need to bore it out to.

I sent them the cylinder, told them what its bored out to, info about it, they asked for the piston size, i gave them that, and they replated the cylinder, its ready to be shipped back. I found a piston that is the same size as what i told them it was, and now im ready to buy a gasket kit. Is there a special sized gasket kit i need? or just any for a cr85?

They didnt charge extra for the studs and stuff. Everything worked out good. I dont know who bored it out. but that piston kit i asked about would work...weisco 52.5 piston kit. (same piston size as i told them) And a stock gasket kit. So everything is good right? Im gonna order the kits in right now since everything worked out good with the cylinder.

I got the piston, gaskets, and cylinder. The piston fits inside of the cylinder, but its a tight fit. The piston is touching the cylinder walls. Is this ok? Or do i need to send it back and get a smaller piston? Well once i actually install it on the bike, i think only the piston ring will be touching the cylinder walls, not the piston itself.

Is the piston ring supposed to be touching the cylinder walls?

Sry, i know this thread is so looooong.
