| A Rider | The only way you can get all the shavings out for sure is to split the case and do it on the bench then clean it all up. If you drill and tap it while it's together you will get shavings in the case guaranteed. You could use a shp vacuum to try and suck the shavings out while you are drilling and tapping. This will help some. I would then flush out the case with A LOT of oil. Just dump oil in the case with the plug out and let it flush out as much as possible. This still will not get it all out. Then change the oil and filter every time you ride it untill it comes out with no metal. This is still not recommneded but it may keep you from splitting the case.

| Administrator | As far as damage goes... Well it could destroy every single part in there and would be completely reasonable if it did.

| Administrator | The only problem with diesel fuel in the crankcase is your clutch disks......... They are not too tolerant of diesel. Think about how diesel destroy many things such as most rubber components i.e. rubber seals. Think about how important it is to soak clutch disks in oil before installing them. Then you go and remove that oil with diesel.
