| Super Moderator | k, when you drop the forks, break that top cap loose first, than drop them all the way out. depending on the style of the forks there may be a rod that screws into the bottom of the cap, its tightened against the cap itself. untighten it, than screw the cap all the way off, pump the old fluid out by moving the chrome tube in and out of the bottom tube. at this point you should be able to get away with not even busting into the bottom tube if you pump like 99% of the fluid out, by pulling the chrome tube out using considerable force, the old seals should pop out, in which case clean the area where they were really good, and hammer the new seals in,, attach the top cap to the rod, tighten that nut up agaisnt the cap, fill forks to specified amount, and tighten cap into chrome tube. If I lived closer I would do it for for free but I dont, lol.
