You have to take the shrouds and tank off along with the seat. The trick is to take the shrouds and gas tank off as a unit. Unbolt the lower to shroud bolts. One goes to the radiator and one goes to the frame. Then remove the bolt in the center top that holds the gas tank down near the bars. Remove the rubber clamp in the back and the pet**** bolt and the guard for the fuel line. Disconnect the fuel line directly from the carb. It is easiest. Then you have access.

What... well it should take you less than a minute to remove these few bolts. If not, you can always start the bike again. The bowl will still be filled with gas.

hmmm, that looks normal, maybe a lil on the rich side, but not bad... that may mean its fine, but you didnt ride ride it before you pulled the plug so idk if thats accurate or not. not your fault though, i told you to.

oh, was it running bad while you did that? i know in my manual it says to ride it full throttle in any gear, then stop, but i think thats accurate enough. lol, kind of alot to ask for in a garden with a 450
