    the problem is that it doesnt really have adjusters
    you know how when a bicycle chain falls off you can get like half on then pedal? i tried that but when its the small sprocket that falls off it doesnt work so well

    that is not good for the chain... it makes it fall off more and stretches it

    there has to be an adjuster if not you would have to take the sprocket off put he chain on and reinstall the sprocket with the chain on it

    if it though chains then the chain is not tight enough/ out of alignment enough that it is letting the chain climb over the teeth

    If it does not move at first, get a bigger hammer!!

    if there's no adjuster, I can think of only two options:
    1: remove the master-link
    2: remove the gear from the shaft, put the chain around it and put it back on

    ok, one more... I saw this on a lawn-mower a long time ago:
    there was an adjuster; I had to loosen the engine mounts and slide the whole engine.
