    suzuki sp 200

    the bike will start up on the first kick when its cold. then after it warms up it wont start until it cools down. i was told that the valves needed adjusted. but im not sure whats going on with it. open to any ideas. thanks

    it may be the valves, metal does expand when it gets hot.
    It certainly cant hurt to check them, especially considering they are rocker arms, very easy.

    does it pop(back or after fire) when you pet off the throttle?

    its almost like its running out of gas. i cleaned to carb and the gas valve, and it didnt make a difference.

    gas valve? including filter?

    i would say that if you look at your valves they are tight
    do you have a feeler gauge? its not hard to do (depending on year)

    older bikes seem to be easier to work on

    If it does not move at first, get a bigger hammer!!
