    2002 yz250f starting problem

     
    I have a 2002 yamaha yz250f and when summer was over I drained gas tank, drained the carb float bowl, drained oil, and tranny. Now it is starting to warm up so I filled it up and had all new fluids. It will not start. I changed spark plug, check resistance on the coil, engine stop control. I sprayed starter fluid in the intake and still nothing. But If i push start it it will almost turn over. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

    I would check and clean the carb, fuel line, pet cock, and tank. Did it run good when you winterized it?

    It ran like a champ before I winterized it, I have cleaned pet cock, but my next step is to tear apart carb and hope it is dirty, i already replaced all the drain line.

    If it had compression when he put it up it just wont go away, and it would be obvious if he didnt have compresion because he has a manual decomp. It sounds like your pilot circuit is clogged up, dont spay air from the bottom up, spray the cleaner and air from the carb throat down. It you go from the float bowl up it will just jam it up more
    2001 YZ-426f- Aftermarket radiators,radiator braces, rebuilt forks, new linkage bearings, new piston, wrapped header, 5th dragon graphics(or some shit), TAG tripple tree(Thanks TDB) and Turner OV bars.

    metal head gaskets dont dry out, and it would havto be sitting for years to dry out the base gasket

    K, tell me a smaller seal that affects compression.
