do they rebound suddenly? if so then theres something wrong in the internals, of course if youve got them set up wrong for your weight they will do this too.

well, there should be two little clickers either on the bottom of the fork or the top, by turning them either way you can increase resistance or decrease it.

Chain jumping

Here's one that's been puzzling me. I have a 2000 XR100 I like to zip around on. A few of us were racing smaller bikes for fun, and the chain jumped off the sprocket twice. Never happened before. Chain tension was good (I check before every ride).

Any thoughts?

well the obvius one, tighten up the chain lol, then check your teeth on the sprockets, you may need new ones and if thats the case get all new sprockets and a new chain.
