no, you can take a pvc tube and cut it in half then use it. wire it together and add random metal as weight or instead of using metal, use it as a fork driver and hit it with the fork tube.

it didnt. it wouldnt drive the copper ring into the outer groove and the oil seal wouldnt get low enough to put the clip in

usually you really have to slam it. when i do it, i have the dust seal on as well. i have to give it a really good hit to seat everything. no troubles with the technique yet.

i have everything on it, and trust me. ive hit it pretty hard. but the dust seal gets seated on the outer tube and it wont go any farther when it does that

well your lucky, ive made a pvc fork seal driver and im waiting for the parts to get here tommorow, and if it doesnt work im going to see if a shop will let me borrow them for like 5 minutes to just do it right in front of them haha
