| Administrator | first off, turtleman, the push rod or bearing being worn or broken will not cause this to happen. if the rod broke it wouldnt matter the slightest bit because its held in place inside a tube so it would press just the same. next, to determine if your bike uses the gear setup, check to see if the clutch cable goes to the right or left side of the bike. the right side is the gear setup and left is the push rod. the reason they use the push rod now is because it is much safer. with the gear setup, if you dent your clutch cover you can run the risk of disabling your clutch because the gear housing is all part of the cover. NOW LISTEN TO THIS -----> if the clutch cable goes to the left side of the bike, it uses a push rod setup. now at the end of the pushrod there is a ball bearing right before the throwout bearing. if this ball bearing fell out and you didnt notice it your clutch would be disabled. however you would notice a super loose clutch handle.

| The Spam man | keep in mind, make sure that you see cable moving from the end of the line, it could even be as simple as a split in the cable (inside) if not, there are some holders that hold the cable to the bike that might be loose, this happened to me once and the clutch wasnt working at all
