| Super Moderator | perhaps the chain? I havent seen a bike yet that reguired removal of the swing arm for the motor to come out, not sure about your particular bike though.

| Administrator | you havent? the swingarm pivots on the same bolt that holds the rear of the engine in.

| Administrator | no, it should be through it. almost all bikes are because it affects frame geometry and handling.

| The Spam man | i have a very old fashioned swingarm, (and bike) luckily i dont have to remove the swingarm!...bolt (i edited this after gscx's comment)
