YZF750 Daytona bike

my dad bought this thing from a guy who raced it at daytona speed week, its truly got too much to list hardly anything is yamaha about it anymore, the fastest either of them have had the guts to take it is 140, with room to go, not before you go "thats not that fast" its a small bore from 1996.
GSCX's gscx post reminded me so yeah.

idk, but the yamaha R-7 was a bad bike for its time, and even for today, it was a 750 that could go 180 and around 160 hp, for 1998 it was on par with todays GSXR-750, and it maybe a little faster im not sure, but they only made like 10000 of them so they cost like 30 grand today

by 140 thats not the fastest it can go, we really dont know, that just the fastest any of us have had it.

I guesstimate top speed at around 170, as it had a gear and throttle to go at 140

idk because most bikes they only go like maybe 8mph raster in top gear when you ae really on the throttle. at least moderen bikes do, they old bikes gearing might be different to

idk, i talked to a guy with a gsx-r1000 and he claimed only 186 tops. i have a buddy with a cbr f4i and did 151 with throttle to spare.
