Well, I got the bike but haven't ridden it yet. Still need a safety inspection and plates which I am going to do now. Already have insurance. The jacket I got is super nice along with the helmet which has been pretty much approved my every organization.

ha, i want a r1 lol
if you have good gear you will improve you chances in a wreck significantly

and yes 150 is dam fast for a first timer... although i want to go to a drag strip and test my dads bike

most the time bikers are safe, its the people around them that cause the injuries (this is not true in all cases though)

Well I put about 130 miles on the bike today. Top speed so far is about 130mph. Of course I behaved-ish.
