alright so ktm is obviously the better bike, but with reliability being the trade off,

so just say we had to vote:

1. WR250f

2. 250 EXC-f

if YOU had to buy one of these bikes, which would you choose, the KTM? knowing it will break down alot, or the WR.

im just trying to do all the research i can, before handing over the wads of cash

cheers.

Everyone seems to be so happy with the WR250F. They seem to last forever. The lack of valve maintenance alone will have you thinking it is a two stroke. People pretty much don't have to touch these bikes and they still run.

i still have no reports of KTMs being unreliable, give me an article and i will believe it. the KTM is probly the better bike for on road since it has 6 gears

ktm's dont break down alot, they use to in their infantcy but the issues are resolved, still not as reliable as the wr.

I mean seriously, not even WR has trashed his bike. LOL you know I am kidding. From everything I have seen and heard about the WR250F makes it a rock solid bike.

just been talking to a bloke at the local KTM dealership, and he reckons "seriously, if you want a good bike, with reliability and excellent aftermarket support go japanese, either honda or yamaha." so now im even more ****ing confused. the ktm seems like a much better bike to ride on-road.
**** it, i should just buy both.
