no, it doesnt give much advantage to un-govern the carb. yeah, couldnt get the flywheel off with the 7000 flywheel pullers we tried, so we just used a crowbar

its dose on mine...
right now on mine it tops out at 3500 rpm if you took the govenner off i am sure it would do 6k rmp (its only running half throttle when the engine speed lever is all the way up)

hmmmm, its just a little metal blocker on our throttle, if you take it off, you gain like 1/2 mph
