Lawnmower Death :( - Page 3

lol, so the lawnmower is done for good now. the connecting rod somehow split from the piston, then pushed itself through the side of it. lol, its a mess! i pulled the head off, my dad had a look and hes like, "screw it! TJ, go find us another engine lol!"

lol, we bought a 12 horse today, almost hooked right up, but we had to tap the motor mounts out and use the wiring harness off the other engine. its a little older style, but its brand new so... 1 thing though, it cuts out a bit. i think its because theres no pulley on the shaft right now, so the no load will make it run bad? idk, but it runs good enough to not use a pushmower

Did you clean the carb, replace the fuel filter and fuel line?
That had mine coughing

i think the fly wheel on them is enough to keep her spinning
check the things Hardtail listed and the spark plug

ok, i will clean out the carb later, runs strong at full throttle though, but at lower throttle it cuts out a bit

maybe the gap on the magneto
(running to slow not making enough spark)
